The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a Class II recall for Aldi’s Happy Farms shredded Colby Jack cheese sold in Connecticut, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania due to potential stainless steel fragments. Approximately 4,800 bags of the cheese have been affected, with “best by” dates of July 13 and 14, 2025. The impacted products have likely been removed from store shelves. Great Lakes Cheese Co. Inc., the manufacturer, initiated the voluntary recall.
