Alec Baldwin, 66, appeared to come close to physical violence with a comedian near his Manhattan apartment. The confrontation occurred when a Donald Trump impersonator approached Baldwin, who was unloading luggage from a vehicle.
Baldwin, known for his Emmy Award-winning work in “30 Rock,” engaged in a vocal argument with the comedian, Jason Scoop, before making a menacing comment about snapping Scoop’s neck. The incident happened after Baldwin asked Scoop to look at him while a camera on Scoop’s finger was beaming.
The altercation comes amid concerns of Baldwin’s behavior following a fatal accident on the set of his film “Rust.” Last year, a New Mexico judge dismissed charges against Baldwin in connection with cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ death. The incident has raised questions about Baldwin’s fitness for public office and sparked renewed scrutiny of his personal life.
This is not the first time Baldwin has been involved in a confrontation. In April, he smacked an anti-Israel activist’s cellphone at a coffee shop while she demanded he say “Free Palestine.”
