Alex Jones’ Infowars Platforms Up for Sale Again at $7M Plus

Infowars platforms linked to conspiracy theorist Alex Jones are up for sale again after a failed auction. First United American Companies, a company connected to Jones, has submitted a new offer of over $7 million to buy the platform, more than double what it proposed when it lost to The Onion in a previous bankruptcy auction.

The sale is part of Jones’ personal bankruptcy case, where he owes nearly $1.5 billion in defamation lawsuits related to the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Most proceeds from the sale will go towards paying these judgments.

After the failed auction, The Onion’s parent company, Global Tetrahedron, has also resubmitted a proposal with plans to relaunch Infowars as a parody and offer $1.75 million in cash.

A lawyer for Jones’ trustee said that the new offers would be evaluated and that a court hearing will take place to determine the next steps.

The future of Infowars remains uncertain, but it’s clear that the platform’s assets will be sold to satisfy Jones’ creditors and pay out damages to the Sandy Hook families.
