Alexa Bliss is set to join WWE SmackDown following her shocking return at the Women’s Royal Rumble over the weekend. According to PWInsider Elite, Bliss will be a part of SmackDown on Fridays, after creative pitches for the star were reportedly explored on both Raw and SmackDown.
Bliss’ surprise appearance in the Rumble was made possible after she renegotiated her contract. Fightful Select confirmed that Bliss had been distant from WWE during negotiations, but the two sides eventually reached a deal that added her to the match. The massive crowd reaction welcomed Bliss back, as she appeared on stage wearing a “Fiend Forever” jacket and holding an updated Lily doll with the number six stitched into its eye.
Bliss was first linked to the Wyatt Sicks faction in June 2022, following her work with late Bray Wyatt throughout 2020. The group’s absence from TV is not due to Bliss’ contract, but rather an injury sustained by one of its members. With Bliss now on SmackDown, fans can expect the Wyatt Sicks to make their return soon.
