Alien: Earth, a new spin-off series from creator Noah Hawley, is set to premiere on Hulu and FX on August 12. The show takes place in the year 2120 and follows a group of characters as they navigate a dystopian future where five corporations govern Earth.
According to a synopsis for the series, humans have merged with technology to create cyborgs and synthetics. However, when the first hybrid prototype named “Wendy” is created, she encounters mysterious life forms that pose an even greater threat than anyone could have imagined.
Sydney Chandler stars as Wendy in the show, which also features Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, and Adrian Edmondson. The series has sparked excitement among fans of the Alien franchise, with executive producer Ridley Scott joining the project to ensure its authenticity.
The show’s trailer was released in June and gives a glimpse into the dark and suspenseful world that Hawley has created. With new episodes set to release every Tuesday through mid-September, viewers will have plenty of opportunities to immerse themselves in this latest Alien spin-off.
