Allu Arjun’s Residence Vandalized After Film Premiere Tragedy

Telugu superstar Allu Arjun’s father and film producer Allu Aravind has condemned vandalism at the actor’s Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad, stating that such incidents should not be encouraged. The protests followed a stampede outside Sandhya Theatre on December 4, where Arjun made an unannounced appearance for a special screening of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Aravind called for calm and stated that the police are taking action against those responsible. He expressed trust in the law to take its own course. The protests, led by Osmania University Joint Action Committee members, demanded justice for Revathi, who lost her life in the stampede. Her eight-year-old son suffered serious injuries.

The incident has sparked a controversy surrounding Arjun’s team and film crew, with allegations of lack of prior notice to authorities. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy criticized the film fraternity for irresponsible behavior, while Arjun claimed misinformation and miscommunication fueled the narrative.

The Hyderabad city police have released a video detailing the events leading up to the stampede, which killed one woman and injured another child seriously.
