Amazfit has officially released its new premium Active 2 Square smartwatch globally, following rumors and leaked product listings earlier this year. The device joins the existing Active 2 Round smartwatch, launched in January 2025.
The Active 2 Square boasts a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with up to 2,000 nits brightness, protected by Sapphire crystal glass. It is housed in a stainless steel frame and comes with two strap options: black leather and red silicone for workouts. The smartwatch measures 43.3 x 36.9 x 9 mm.
Key features of the Active 2 Square include its BioTracker 6.0 with an upgraded heart rate tracking algorithm, barometer support for activities like skiing, and a gyroscope for sleep tracking. It also supports over 160 activities, GPS navigation, offline maps, and heart rate variability tracking.
The watch features Amazfit’s Zepp Flow AI assistant, allowing users to respond to messages with voice commands and Android smartphone integration. In Europe, users can make contactless payments through Zepp Pay. With typical use, the device can last up to 10 days on a single charge.
Priced at $149.99/£149.90/€149.90, the Active 2 Square is $20 more expensive than its predecessor, the Active 2 Round Premium.
