Amazon has dropped its promises to protect the rights of minority groups, including Black people and LGBTQ+ individuals. The move comes as former President Donald Trump is set to return to the White House. A page listing the online retailer’s policies, which aimed to help Black people live “free from fear,” was altered in late November, with the term “transgender” also removed.
