Amazon To Pay $1.5 Billion for Confusing Cancellation Process

Amazon has agreed to settle a federal lawsuit, resolving claims that its Prime membership program was confusing or difficult to cancel. As part of the settlement, the company will provide up to $51 in refunds to eligible customers. The amount each customer receives depends on how much they paid for their Prime membership.
