Amber Glenn Defends Title in Figure Skating Championships as Key Performances Shine

Amber Glenn dominated her figure skating title defense with a flawless free skate performance, landing a triple axel early in her program. Despite Alysa Liu’s near-perfect run, the two-time national champion from Texas fell short by just a point or two on her final spin.

Bradie Tennell struggled in her free skate after a dominant short program, being passed by newcomer Sarah Everhardt. Meanwhile, ice dancing continued to dazzle with 25-year-old pair Bradie Tennell and 27-year-old partner Robincorrêa impressing with their high scores and bold choreography.

Chock & Bates dominated the ice dance category once again, scoring nearly 10 points higher than second place. Their routine, a trip through all three decades of American pop culture, earned them strong finishes at 82.13 points—equal to another pair—but they slipped into fourth due to their technical scores.

Elsewhere, Zingas and Kolesnik claimed third with an energetic performance, while Green and Parsons secured second with a polished but slightly flawed routine. The ice dance finale set the stage for what promises to be a historic showdown at next year’s Winter Olympics in Milan.

As the week progresses, fans will root for Chock & Bates’ continued dominance and the exciting matchups ahead.
