Amber Tamblyn Supports Blake Lively Amid $400 Million Lawsuit Dismissal

Amber Tamblyn has shown her support for Blake Lively, who had her $400 million lawsuit against Justin Baldoni dismissed by a federal judge on Monday. The actress wrote “Proud of you, Blake” on her Instagram Stories after the news broke.

Lively filed her initial complaint in December 2024 alleging sexual harassment and retaliation, with Baldoni denying the allegations. Tamblyn, along with fellow Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants cast members America Ferrera and Alexis Bledel, previously spoke out supporting Lively amid the legal battle.

Judge Lewis J. Liman granted the motions to dismiss on Monday, tossing out the lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds, as well as a $250 million defamation lawsuit by Baldoni against The New York Times. However, Baldoni’s lawyers can still amend their claims for breach of implied covenant and tortious interference with contract if they choose to move forward.

Lively’s attorneys stated that the judge’s decision is a “total victory” and a “complete vindication” for Lively, Reynolds, Leslie Sloane, and The New York Times. They also claimed that the lawsuit was a “sham” from the start.

Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman had previously called Lively’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit “one of the most abhorrent examples of abusing our legal system.” However, his team has not commented on the judge’s decision so far.
