AMD RX 9060 XT GPU Spotted in Online Benchmarks Ahead of June 5 Launch

AMD’s new Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU has appeared in online benchmarks, sparking excitement among gamers on a modest budget. The card is expected to be a saviour for those seeking affordable gaming performance.

A Geekbench leak revealed the RX 9060 XT scores 124251 points in Vulkan testing, compared to the Nvidia RTX 5060’s 120000 points and last-gen RX 6600 XT’s 80,000 points. However, these results are not official and may not accurately represent the final retail product.

The RX 9060 XT is essentially half of the RX 9070 XT in terms of hardware, including GPU cores and memory bus width, but boasts a faster boost clock of around 3.1 GHz. Its base model starts at $299 for 8GB, while the 16GB version costs $349, closely matching Nvidia’s RTX 5060 pricing.

Retail prices may vary, and AMD claims the RX 9060 XT surpasses the RTX 5060 Ti in performance. As the launch date approaches, these early results will be scrutinized to determine the card’s true potential.
