AMD Unveils New CPU Lineup at CES 2025

AMD has launched a new range of CPUs at CES 2025, showcasing their latest advancements in desktop-grade silicon and integrated GPU technology. The lineup includes the Fire Range, Strix Halo, Krackan Point, Ryzen 9000X3D, Hawk Point Refresh, and Ryzen 9 9950X3D.

The Fire Range is designed for workstations, while the Ryzen AI Max 300 series (Strix Halo) features a unique design with two chiplets and an integrated GPU. The Ryzen AI 300 models, Krackan Point and Hawk Point Refresh, are designed for laptops and offer improved performance at affordable prices.

The Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D CPUs boast up to 16 cores and share similar internals with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. AMD claims these new processors will deliver 20% faster gaming performance and 10% faster productivity compared to Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285K.
