America’s Neglect of Men’s Health Must End Now

The health, happiness, and well-being of US men have been overlooked for far too long, leading to a concerning gap in life expectancy between men and women. US men are 5 years shorter-lived than women and tend to delay critical care.

A growing “war on manhood” has exacerbated the issue, leaving American men feeling lonely, confused, and empty. This has dire consequences: US men are four times more likely to commit suicide and twice as likely to overdose compared to women.

As part of National Men’s Health Week, the president is pledging support for men’s health. An Executive Order signed recently aims to improve access to quality medical care, lower medication prices, and deliver most-favored-nation pricing to patients.

The Make America Healthy Again Commission will work tirelessly to promote healthier living among US men. The administration will prioritize their well-being, champion their voices, and values, and never compromise on promoting a culture that lifts them up rather than tears them down.
