Innersloth has announced Among Us 3D, a non-VR version of the popular social stealth sim game. The move is seen as a reversal for Meta Quest users who previously had access to a VR-exclusive version. However, this change brings great news for those without VR headsets.
Among Us 3D will feature core gameplay elements, including tasks, sabotage, Emergency Meetings, and venting, in a fully immersive 3D environment. The game supports native proximity voice chat and crossplay functionality with VR users, but not the original Among Us game. Non-VR players can expect new minigames, first-person controls, and cosmetic customization using Stardust currency.
A Steam demo is scheduled for Next Fest next week, offering a taste of the game’s features before its full launch. Post-launch, Innersloth plans to add more modes, collaborations, hats, and limited-time events. The release date has not been officially announced, leaving fans to wait patiently until Innersloth reveals it.
