Ancelotti Fumes at Referee Decisions in 1-1 Draw

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was left fuming after several referee decisions in their 1-1 draw with Osasuna, extending their winless LaLiga run to three games. The Italian boss criticized the VAR for not intervening in potential penalties and a handball call.

Bellingham was sent off in the first half after an altercation with the referee, but Ancelotti claimed he hadn’t insulted the official. He also argued that a red card should have been given to Osasuna’s Alejandro Catena for alleged foul play on Vinicius Jr.

The match saw several contentious decisions, including a penalty awarded to Osasuna after Real midfielder Eduardo Camavinga was called offside. The Croatian striker Budimir scored from the spot to level the score, and Kylian Mbappe opened the game with an early goal.

Real Madrid remain top of LaLiga with 51 points, but Ancelotti’s frustration adds fuel to the club’s ongoing issues with refereeing.
