Google’s President of the Android Ecosystem, Sameer Samat, has confirmed that Android 16 will arrive in June this year. This is a surprise, given that the second Android 16 beta is only halfway through, and it marks one of the earliest release dates for a major Android update. The confirmation was made during Mobile World Congress, where Samat spoke to Android Police about the upcoming OS. With just a few months left in the year, users can expect significant changes and improvements with Android 16.
