Anker PowerCore 10000 Power Bank Recall Over Heating Risk

A recall has been issued for the Anker PowerCore 10000 power bank due to overheating risks that can cause fires and burns. The affected model, A1263, has a serial number “SN” printed on the bottom. Consumers should check their serial number on the CPSC website to determine if their power bank is included in the recall.

Anker is providing free replacement power banks to affected consumers. To receive a replacement, customers must submit a photo of the recalled power bank with the model number and serial number, along with a purchase receipt and confirmation of safe disposal. The company has received 19 reports of fires and explosions, including two minor burn injuries.
