Aorus RX 9070 XT Revealed with PCI-E 4.0 & 16GB GDDR6

The highly-anticipated AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 GPUs have finally been listed by Danish retailer Fonix, revealing their specs, availability, and a surprising twist. The cards are expected to launch on January 22nd, with a review sample already being shipped to reviewers.

Interestingly, the availability status for both GPUs has changed from “In-Stock” to January 23rd, indicating that some units have been secured by customers. This suggests that the official retail launch might occur two days later, on January 24th.

The listed prices seem to be placeholders, but they give us an idea of what to expect. The Radeon RX 9070 XT is expected to retail for around $1,281, while the standard model will likely cost approximately $1,047.

It’s worth noting that AMD has already confirmed that its RX 9070 cards won’t exceed $1,000 in price. Given the competitive landscape with NVIDIA’s RTX 5070 ($549), it’s likely that the RX 9070 XT will be priced lower to remain on par or better in performance.

The Aorus RX 9070 XT edition has caught attention due to its PCI-E 4.0 interface and 16GB GDDR6 memory, setting it apart from the standard model. With the launch date approaching, enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting more information about these upcoming GPUs.
