Apple’s 50th anniversary celebration is coming to a close with a final event at Apple Park in Cupertino this week. Mark Gurman, an insider, hinted that the headlining performer will be none other than Sir Paul McCartney, a legendary icon of the British Invasion as part of The Beatles. With his recent tour and new album announcement, it’s clear that McCartney is still going strong. This concert will be exclusive to Apple employees and their families, but fans can only hope that Apple records and releases it publicly.
As an added bonus, we’d love to see Paul McCartney perform at the iconic rainbow stage inside the Apple Park ring. With his long history with The Beatles and Steve Jobs’ admiration for the band, this performance is a perfect culmination of Apple’s 50th anniversary celebration.
