Apple iPhone SE 4 May Come with Higher Price Tag

Apple’s next iPhone SE is expected to feature significant changes, including a new design and potentially higher prices. The phone is rumored to arrive in spring, possibly around March, and will boast advanced features such as Face ID, Apple Intelligence, an OLED screen, and improved camera capabilities.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the current price of $429 may be increased to around $500. This move would mark a significant shift for the iPhone SE, which has traditionally offered excellent value despite its premium price.

Gurman suggests that the new iPhone SE will appeal to users with older iPhones, offering an upgrade path at a higher price point. However, another writer agrees that this approach may limit Apple’s market share in regions like India and other parts of South Asia, where affordability is crucial for expanding the company’s presence.

The iPhone SE has always prioritized being good value over being a bargain-basement option, with its latest model using the A18 processor. While some argue that the new features justify the potential price hike, others believe that Apple should focus on making its products more accessible to wider audiences.
