Apple iPhone SE 4 to Feature Upgraded Camera and Affordable Price Tag

Apple is set to launch its next-generation iPhone SE 4 early next year, boasting several significant upgrades. According to reports from ET News, the device will feature a single 48MP camera setup on the back and a 12MP TrueDepth camera on the front.

The upgraded 48MP rear camera, supplied by LG Innotek, is expected to bring improved image quality and support for 2x zoom through a higher-resolution camera. The device’s camera setup will also enable it to take standard shots and wide-angle shots with a new ‘Fusion’ lens, allowing users to capture both formats with ease.

The iPhone SE 4 is also expected to maintain high-performance levels at an affordable price tag of $400-$500. The device will be powered by an A18 chip, the same one used in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, ensuring it stays future-proof and compatible with Apple Intelligence features.

In terms of storage, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to come equipped with 8GB of RAM, making it ready for Apple’s AI-powered features alongside other devices like the iPad mini 7. Additionally, the device will house a custom 5G modem from Apple, although its performance may lag behind Qualcomm’s modems.

The iPhone SE 4’s camera and design upgrades make it an attractive option in Apple’s lineup, particularly at its affordable price point. As for whether the SE 4 can compete with Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 sales, only time will tell, but the device’s promising features make it a strong contender in the market.
