In the company’s annual meeting, held virtually on Thursday, shareholders rejected a proposal to discontinue the program. However, CEO Tim Cook stated that adjustments might be made to the DEI efforts in the future. Additionally, investors declined to provide reports on artificial intelligence risks and child sex abuse material, as well as charitable giving practices. The company’s board and executive compensation plan were approved by shareholders.
