Apple Reaches Record High with New AI Features for iPhone and More

Apple’s stock price hit a record high on Wednesday after the company released its second batch of artificial intelligence features for the iPhone and other devices. The new set of Apple Intelligence features, which are included in free operating system updates, builds on the first set released in late October.

The new AI features include Image Playground for creating images, Genmoji for creating custom emoji, and Writing Tools with a built-in chatbot from OpenAI’s ChatGPT. The tools also enhance the Notes app, allowing users to transform rough sketches into polished images with just a few circles around them.

In addition, iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro users can instantly access visual intelligence tools in Camera Control to learn more about their surroundings. Apple is expanding its service to more languages, starting with localized English support for Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the U.K.

With this latest update, Apple has solidified its position as a tech leader. The company’s stock price closed down 0.5% at $246.49 but reached an all-time high of $250.80 earlier in the day.
