Apple Releases iOS 26 Developer Beta 6 with New Design Features

Apple has released the sixth developer beta version of iOS 26, a redesigned version of its iPhone software that is expected to launch next month. The update promises to deliver a stunning new design, powerful Apple Intelligence capabilities, and exciting updates to CarPlay, Apple Music, Maps, and Wallet.

Previous beta versions have introduced various design tweaks, including legibility improvements for Control Center and better menu organization in Safari. The latest update, however, brings more significant changes, such as opaqueness to some of the more transparent tab bars and new wallpaper colors.

The iOS 26 update is available on compatible devices, including the iPhone SE (2nd generation), iPhone 11, and up, with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or iPhone 16 family models required for features that use Apple Intelligence. While newer iPhones will receive the latest features and design, older iPhones like the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max will continue to receive software updates for security.
