Apple will unveil four new iPhone 17 models next month, featuring an ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air and a range of new colors. While the designs have been leaked numerous times, we’ve yet to see official images from Apple.
A user on X, Oliur (@UltraLinx), has shared a “legit” image of the back of the iPhone 17 Pro, which is believed to be an exact replica of the design used in the “What’s in the Box” section of the phone’s mini site. The image shows a matte black exterior with a glass section below the camera array and a new half-glass, half-aluminum aesthetic.
The camera array features three lenses, an LIDAR sensor, and a flash, all contained within a wide bar. Notably, the camera lenses appear to be made of matte black aluminum, while the glass section is slightly raised but not as much as the camera lens. The design has sparked controversy due to its unusual look.
The image’s similarity to Apple’s official designs raises questions about its authenticity, and Oliur (@UltraLinx) claims it comes from a reliable source without providing evidence. Apple is set to host an event on September 9 to unveil the new iPhone 17 models, so stay tuned for more updates on these highly anticipated devices.
