Apple Reveals Major iPhone 17 Pro Max Redesign

Apple has hinted at a significant redesign of its upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max model. The latest mock-up renders from Russian YouTube channel Wylsacom show a drastic departure from the current design, featuring a horizontal triple-lens camera module and an aluminum back panel.

The new design shares similarities with the Google Pixel 9/Pro/XL series, which was recently redesigned to feature a sleeker camera bar. However, some critics argue that Apple has simply borrowed aesthetics from its competitors rather than innovating new designs.

On the other hand, a horizontal camera layout could bring stability and durability benefits, especially for users who prefer to hold their phone on a flat surface. Additionally, an aluminum rear panel with a two-tone design could enhance durability and potentially reduce reliance on cases.

While these renders are just rumors at this stage, Apple’s track record suggests that they can deliver on their promises. The company is due to unveil the iPhone 17 family in September 2025, and if the rumors hold true, it will mark a significant shift for the flagship Pro models.
