Apple Seeds Revised iOS 26 Beta to Fix Battery Issue

Apple has released a revised version of the first iOS 26 beta for testing purposes. The update is designed to address a battery issue that could cause iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 models to display a low battery symbol and fail to start up after updating to the initial iOS 26 beta.

The revised beta, available only to developers, can be downloaded through the Settings app on compatible devices. iOS 26 includes several new features, including the Liquid Glass design, which Apple debuted at its WWDC 2025 keynote event. The update also brings changes to Messages, Phone, Safari, Music, Photos, Camera, and more.

Developers can expect to see a wide range of improvements in the revised beta, including on-device large language models and machine learning capabilities that power several exclusive features. Additionally, iOS 26 will support the latest iPad models, including the iPad Pro and iPad Air series.

The public beta for iOS 26 is expected to follow next month, with a full release planned for September. This marks an exciting new chapter in Apple’s software development roadmap, which promises to deliver major updates and improvements across its operating systems, including macOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS.
