Apple has been quiet so far in 2025 with limited product announcements, but that’s about to change as the company gears up for a spring rollout of five major products.
One of the most highly anticipated releases is the iPhone SE 4, which promises to be Apple’s most affordable new iPhone yet. The phone is expected to drop the home button and adopt a new form factor similar to the iPhone 14, while also integrating an in-house modem and using USB-C as its charging port. There may also be rumors of dropping the ‘SE’ name for this model.
The cheapest iPad, the iPad 11, is due for a significant update with Apple Intelligence support, but no major design changes are expected. Instead, the A17 Pro chip is likely to arrive in this model, similar to the iPad mini.
Other products on the horizon include an updated MacBook Air with the new M4 chip and a refreshed M3 iPad Air. The MacBook Air is expected to launch sooner than spring, while the iPad Air will receive an all-new Magic Keyboard.
Apple’s first smart home product with a display, which supports Apple Intelligence, is also set to be released as soon as next month. This affordable display will be wall mountable and attachable to speakers, with a roughly 7-inch square screen.
Other expected releases include an updated AirTag model with a newer ultra-wide band chipset and iOS 18.4, which should provide the final suite of Apple Intelligence features announced at WWDC24.
