Apple has finally dropped a hint about when to expect its latest device, revealing an official release date of February 19. The teaser post by CEO Tim Cook points to the launch of a new Apple product without giving away much details. However, rumors suggest that the iPhone SE 4 is highly likely, especially considering its overdue design update.
The current iPhone SE, released in March 2022, sports an antiquated design from the iPhone 8. Leaked images show a significantly improved design, mostly based on the iPhone 14, with a few minor changes. If confirmed, the iPhone SE 4 would feature a modern design without a home button, along with new specs such as a more powerful processor and increased RAM.
Upgrades are also expected for battery life and display quality. Apple will likely bump up the RAM to 8GB from the current 4GB. The A16 or A17 processor is rumored, which could provide significant performance improvements. Apple’s official announcement is just around the corner, with February 19 marking the potential launch date of the iPhone SE 4.
