Apple is reportedly set to launch the iPhone SE 4 as early as this week, according to industry analyst Mark Gurman. The new device is expected to feature a redesigned chassis with a familiar design similar to that of the iPhone 14 or iPhone 16, depending on Apple’s decision to use a small notch or Dynamic Island.
The iPhone SE 4 will reportedly come equipped with the latest internal upgrades, including an A18 chip and up to 8GB of RAM. The device will also boast a 6.1-inch OLED display, a USB-C port instead of Lightning, and an upgraded camera sensor at the back.
Gurman claims that the iPhone SE 4’s price tag may be higher than its predecessor, potentially starting at $429 but jumping to as much as $499. However, Apple aims to keep the device affordable while still offering significant upgrades.
With no official event invites sent out by Apple, it remains unclear whether the iPhone SE 4 will be announced via press release or a dedicated event. Gurman’s prediction suggests that a launch is imminent, with this week being the most likely timeframe.
