The new display’s specifications remain unclear, including whether it will feature a higher refresh rate than the current 60Hz model. However, other sources have confirmed that Apple is developing mini-LED technology for its next Studio Display. This upgrade would result in smoother visuals, particularly during video playback and text scrolling.
Young has a proven track record of predicting display-related information for future Apple products. If confirmed, the new Studio Display with mini-LED backlighting will likely launch in 2026 and start at $1,599 in the US.
