Apple will host its annual fall event on September 9, where the company is expected to unveil new iPhones, watches, and other devices. The event, held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California, will showcase Apple’s efforts to integrate artificial intelligence into its products.
New iPhones are expected to include a slimmer version of the latest model, possibly branded as iPhone Air, similar to its iPad and MacBook Air lines. Apple Watch upgrades, upgraded iPad Pros, and a faster version of the Vision Pro headset are also on the agenda.
The event comes after Apple boosted its investment in the US to $600 billion over four years, aiming to sidestep potential import duties. The company faces pressure from tariffs imposed on US imports from countries including China and India.
Apple has been lagging behind rivals like Samsung and Chinese firms Honor and Huawei in embracing AI technology. However, recent software updates have introduced new AI features and an operating system overhaul.
