Apple to Unveil New MacBook Air Models with M4 Chip Tomorrow

Apple is expected to announce new MacBook Air models with the M4 chip as early as this week, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models are anticipated to feature Thunderbolt 4 ports, a Center Stage camera, longer battery life, and minor design upgrades. There are no expected changes to the laptop’s overall design.

The news comes after Apple CEO Tim Cook teased a new product announcement in a recent video message, stating “there’s something in the air.” This teaser is believed to be related to the upcoming MacBook Air models with the M4 chip, which were previously rumored to be announced this week. The release of the new MacBook Air models may also be followed by new iPad announcements.

Gurman initially stated that the new MacBook Air would be announced before the iPhone 16e and new iPad Air, but it appears that information was incorrect. The announcement will likely take place in a press release on Apple’s Newsroom website.

The new MacBook Air models are expected to offer improved performance and features compared to their predecessors. However, there is no word on when the iPhone 16e or new iPad Air models will be announced.
