Apple has made changes to its upcoming iOS 26 operating system, focusing on refining its “Liquid Glass” design. A recent beta update has brought additional transparency and a 3D, floating effect to the Lock Screen clock. The updated look is more in line with the rest of the Liquid Glass aesthetic, featuring larger icons but unchanged control buttons. However, this new design may make it harder to read the clock on darker backgrounds. Apple continues to tweak various iOS 26 elements as it prepares for its September launch and aims to perfect the Liquid Glass look before then.
