Apple Unveils First Event for 2025 on February 19 – iPhone SE 4 and More

Apple has announced its first event for 2025, scheduled for Wednesday, February 19. The company’s CEO, Tim Cook, hinted at the new product launch in a post on X (formerly Twitter), saying “get ready to meet the newest member of the family.” The most likely candidate for this announcement is the iPhone SE 4, which has been heavily rumored and may feature a significant update with an all-screen design, Face ID, and Apple’s latest A18 chip.

However, it seems that Apple might not be releasing one big product in April like its “Spring Loaded” event in 2021. Instead, the company is expected to hold a series of smaller events throughout the spring season, with more details on new products, including an M4 MacBook Air and new iPad models, set to emerge later.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to lose chunky bezels and feature Touch ID, replacing them with an all-screen look and Face ID. The device may also boast a 6.1-inch OLED display, improved cameras, and enhanced performance. Apple’s 5G modem technology is also likely to be integrated into the new iPhone.

Additionally, there have been rumors about a new iPad Air model featuring “internal improvements” and possibly a Magic Keyboard for both sizes. A 10.9-inch iPad has also been rumored to receive Apple’s own 5G modem. The company may also unveil a third-generation HomePod with an OLED display measuring six or seven inches across.

While the exact details are still unknown, it’s clear that Apple is set to unveil some exciting new products in the coming months.
