Apple Watch 10th Anniversary Celebration: How to Get Your Free Pin

Apple is celebrating its 10-year milestone of the original Apple Watch by offering a limited-edition pin to all Apple Watch owners. The challenge, called Global Close Your Rings Day, encourages users to close their Activity rings on April 24th and earn rewards, including digital stickers and an animated badge.

To participate in the challenge, Apple Watch owners must be running watchOS 5 or later and have closed all three Activity rings (Move, Exercise, and Stand) by April 24. The reward is exclusive to those who successfully complete this task, which can be completed on any Apple Watch model, including the latest Series 10 and Ultra 2.

In addition to the challenge, Apple will also distribute free physical Apple Watch memorabilia starting on April 24th. However, due to high demand, it’s unclear if everyone will receive one, especially those without an Apple Store nearby.

To claim your rewards, simply close your Activity rings on April 24 and take a screenshot of your achievement to share on social media with the hashtag #CloseYourRings. If you’re unable to complete the challenge, there’s no guarantee that you’ll get a pin or other rewards.

Apple will hand out free Apple Watch 10th anniversary pins starting April 24th at Apple Store locations worldwide while supplies last. However, it may be difficult for those without an Apple Store nearby to secure one.

The celebration also marks Global Close Your Rings Day, which encourages users to prioritize fitness and get active. By closing their Activity rings, users can earn digital rewards and share their achievement on social media.
