The new version will have better charging speeds, heat dissipation, and efficiency. It will also include a special user interface with on-screen animations and sound effects to teach users how to use the feature.
Although the component needed for wireless reverse charging was found in an iPhone 12 teardown, Apple didn’t enable full MagSafe/Qi support, which is why it hasn’t been fully activated yet. The company is working to develop a more advanced version of the feature, with ambitions bigger than what has been seen so far.
