According to Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman, 2025 will be a crucial year for Apple. The year will start with the release of the iPhone SE (codenamed V59), expected to feature a redesign based on the iPhone 14 with Face ID and Apple Intelligence support. Although there’s no confirmation on its name, it’s likely to be called something like “iPhone 16E”.
In the first quarter, expect new MacBook Air models (13-inch and 15-inch) with the Apple M4 chip, as well as entry-level iPads (J481 and J482). New iPad Magic Keyboards are also planned for spring. The Mac Studio may see an upgrade in the first half of 2025.
In September, Apple is expected to unveil a new iPhone lineup, including a thin “iPhone Air” or “iPhone 17 Air”, which could be a template for future foldables. There’s also speculation about a redesigned Apple Watch SE and the Apple Watch Series 11/Apple Watch Ultra 3, with potential upgrades like satellite connectivity and high blood pressure detection.
However, some products have been delayed, including the smart home tablet (codenamed Pebble) and the Apple Vision Pro 2, which may be replaced by a cheaper variant in 2026. On the other hand, there are rumors about new products like smart glasses in the style of Ray-Ban Meta.
