Apple has finally made its AI features, including Visual Intelligence, available on all supported iPhone models. The feature, which uses the camera to identify objects and provide information, was initially only available on lower-end iPhone 16e models. However, a recent update to iOS 18.4 has expanded its availability to include all six supported phones: the four iPhone 16 series devices and the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
Visual Intelligence is accessible through three new methods:
1. Assigning it to the Action Button
2. Adding it to the Lock Screen in place of the camera shortcut
3. Launching it from Control Center by swiping down from the top right, holding the display, and selecting “Add a Control” under Apple Intelligence.
These features are now available on the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max in addition to the previously supported devices. With Visual Intelligence enabled, users can leverage this convenient AI feature across their entire range of compatible iPhones.
