Rumors are swirling that Apple is set to unveil its new iPhone lineup on September 9, marking a significant change in the company’s strategy. Instead of four iPhones – standard and Pro models, plus a “Plus” variant – Apple will reportedly introduce an ultra-thin iPhone dubbed the iPhone 17 Air.
Leaked images suggest the Air will feature a horizontal camera bar, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge, while the Pro models may also adopt this design. The devices are expected to sport improved cameras, including a 24-MP selfie lens and a 48-MP telephoto lens on Pro models.
Furthermore, Apple is rumored to have switched to aluminum instead of titanium for its new iPhones, potentially resulting in a half-aluminum and half-glass rear design.
Prices are anticipated to rise due to tariffs, although the exact cost remains unknown.
Meanwhile, Seiko has teamed up with Pepsi to create two unique novelty watches. The SRPL99 and SSK047 feature classic Pepsi colors on their bezels, with the former using them as a timer and the latter displaying day and night information in world time mode.
The Dark Pepsi GMT has become an instant collector’s item, while the limited-edition watches will be released in September for $395 and $550, respectively. With production being capped at 7,000 units, fans may face challenges getting their hands on these exclusive timepieces.
