Argentinian Judge Charges Hotel Workers in Liam Payne Death Probe

An Argentinian judge has charged two hotel employees with being involved in the investigation into Liam Payne’s death, according to a report by Rolling Stone. The workers are believed to be the hotel’s manager and receptionist. The exact charges against them are not clear.

Three other individuals have previously been charged in connection with the case: two who allegedly supplied Payne with drugs and a friend accused of abandoning him before his fatal fall from a balcony on October 16th.

Payne died due to multiple traumas, including substances found in his system such as alcohol, cocaine, and prescription antidepressants. The receptionist made two 911 calls in the lead-up to his death, requesting emergency medical services only and asking police not to be involved.

The new charges come three weeks after Payne’s private funeral was attended by his bandmates, family, and girlfriend Kate Cassidy.
