Ari Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor, came out in support of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively during a recent radio show appearance. The Hollywood power couple has been embroiled in a controversy with former WME client Justin Baldoni, who is suing them for alleged mistreatment.
Emanuel described Reynolds and Lively as “good people” and stated that he personally fired Baldoni from his agency in December. He also expressed concern for Lively’s well-being, saying she felt “not being protected.” Emanuel’s comments come amid a flurry of lawsuits, including Baldoni suing WME for $250 million and Reynolds and Lively filing a defamation lawsuit against him.
Baldioni’s lawyers claim he was unfairly terminated from his agency, but Emanuel disputes this, citing the couple’s good reputation in Hollywood. The controversy is set to go to trial on March 29, 2026, in New York federal court.
