Talent agency executive Ari Emanuel has come forward to praise his clients Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, amid the ongoing legal battle with former talent agency WME, which “fired” Justin Baldoni. In a live podcast interview, Emanuel described Lively and Reynolds as “really incredible people” who have never had bad mojo or treated others badly.
Emanuel shared that he has known Lively and Reynolds for over a decade and called them “good people” who have worked in the industry for decades without any bad press. He also confirmed firing Baldoni, saying he is a “ride-or-die.” The comments come amid the lawsuit filed by Lively against Baldioni, accusing him of sexual harassment and misconduct on set.
Baldoni has denied the allegations, but Emanuel’s remarks suggest that those involved in the dispute are “really bad people” if the allegations are true. Meanwhile, Lively and Reynolds have rejected mediation, stating it would be “inappropriate” and “premature.” The legal dispute between the former costars began in December 2024, with Baldoni countersuing Lively for $400 million.
