Several high-profile artists will perform at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration events, including Carrie Underwood, The Village People, Rascal Flatts, Kid Rock, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Liberty University’s Praise Choir.
The Make America Great Again Victory Rally on Sunday will feature performances from Kid Rock and The Village People. In a statement, original Village People member Victor Willis clarified that the group’s performance is not an endorsement of Trump’s policies but rather an opportunity to support the new president.
The swearing-in ceremony on Monday will showcase Carrie Underwood singing “America the Beautiful” and opera tenor Christopher Macchio performing “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Lee Greenwood will also perform, as well as a surprise musical guest yet to be announced.
The Liberty Ball on Monday evening will feature The Village People alongside country singer Jason Aldean. Rascal Flatts will take the stage at the Commander-in-Chief Ball, which is leaning into the country genre. Parker McCollum will open for the group, and lead singer Gary LeVox expressed his excitement to perform at the inauguration.
Singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw will headline the Starlight Ball on Monday evening. The lineup of performers aims to celebrate music, unity, and patriotism during President Trump’s historic inauguration weekend.
