Jeanty, who leads the nation with 2,288 yards on 312 carries and 28 total touchdowns, has long been expected to enter the NFL Draft. He has stated his focus is now on playing his best football for his teammates and coaches and winning a championship.
The Mountain West title game will be Jeanty’s last chance to make his case for the Heisman Trophy, which he believes he is the best player in the country. Boise State (11-1, 7-0 MW) will host UNLV (10-2, 6-1 MW) on Friday, with the Broncos seeking a championship and Group of Five berth in this year’s College Football Playoff.
