However, early user reviews on platforms like PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam are even more positive, with scores ranging from 4.79/5 to “Very Positive” (81%).
Critics’ skepticism aside, Shadows seems poised for success due to its familiar formula and the fact that it’s a long-awaited location for fans. Unlike recent games like Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which disappointed despite a strong start, Shadows avoids major changes to the formula.
While early sales data is scarce, Shadows appears to be off to a promising start.
