Asus Refreshes Gaming Laptops with Cheaper RTX 5060 Options

Asus has updated its gaming laptop lineup to feature the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPU, offering a mid-range option for gamers and content creators at lower prices. The new laptops are available in three lines – ROG Strix G16 and G18, Zephyrus G14, and TUF Gaming A14, A16, A18, and F16.

The RTX 5060 GPU provides features like Multi Frame Generation, which enables higher framerates at slightly lower prices. The new laptops offer a range of configurations, with prices starting from $1,499.99 for the ROG Strix G16 and going up to $2,099.99 for more premium options.

The ROG Strix G16 and G18 models are similar to their pricier Strix Scar counterparts but feature IPS panels instead of Mini LED displays and no fancy lid with animated LEDs. The new RTX 5060-equipped laptops come with Intel or AMD chip options, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of storage.

The TUF Gaming laptops also offer a range of configurations, including the A18 and F16 models at $1,599.99 and $1,699.99 respectively. The Zephyrus G14 model has been updated with an RTX 5060 configuration at $1,799.99.

All the new laptops are compatible with Nvidia’s DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation features, and their availability is expected to expand through June.
