Australian Hospital Investigates Nurse’s Deadly Claims Against Israelis

A nurse at an Australian hospital has sparked outrage after claiming online that she would kill Israelis on the job. The claim was made during a conversation with an Israeli influencer on social media.

Two nurses were suspended and will never work for the state health department again, amid fears of antisemitic attacks in Australia. The incident has raised concerns about extremism among medical professionals towards Sydney’s Jewish community.

The police strike force investigating potential hate crimes linked to the online video found no evidence of harm to patients. However, authorities are still examining patient records and looking into a trailer containing explosives and a list of potential Jewish targets.

Australian health Minister Ryan Park described the nurses as “vile, disgusting and deranged individuals” who would never be allowed to work in the healthcare system again. This incident is part of a surge in antisemitic attacks in Australia, with homes, offices, and businesses being vandalized and two synagogues torched.

The Australian Jewish community has expressed concern over the rise in extremism among medical professionals. The Executive Council of Australian Jewry’s co-chief executive officer Alex Ryvchin said that this was not the work of isolated individuals but rather a symptom of a broader problem.
