Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens kicker, has denied allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior by multiple massage therapists. Six women who worked with him between 2012 and 2016 accused him of exposing himself, brushing his genitals against clients, and leaving bodily fluid on tables during massages.
Two spas banned him from returning after the allegations surfaced. NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy confirmed that the league is looking into the matter. Tucker’s lawyers argue that athletes often shift around during massages and adjust coverings, which could lead to accidental exposure.
Tucker posted a statement on social media, saying he has never received complaints from massage therapists and has never been told he was not welcome at any spa. He accused The Baltimore Banner of “desperate tabloid fodder” and claimed the reporting was out of proportion.
The Ravens organization expressed concern over the allegations, stating they would monitor the situation. Tucker’s lawyers hired a defamation law firm after learning about the article being written, claiming the newspaper deliberately misconstrued events.
The massage therapists’ attorneys said that their clients’ accounts were validated by the public and that telling their stories was an important step in recovery. The NFL has not charged Tucker with a crime, and there is no civil suit filed against him at this time.
